Job Title: Interventional Cardiology RN

Description:
This position is opened to cover a caregiver on leave.
The RN will care for cardiology patients preparing for or recovering from procedures such as cardiac catheterization and PCI/stent placement.
The patient population may include those requiring careful assessment of symptoms, anticoagulation status, medication changes, and post-procedure complications.
Urgent escalation is required for chest pain, new/worsening shortness of breath, syncope/near-syncope, stroke-like symptoms, uncontrolled bleeding, unstable vitals, or vascular access complications.
The facility operates under a heart and vascular specialty, focusing on high-quality patient care.
The RN's responsibilities include obtaining health questionnaires, vital signs, and administering oxygen.
Patient engagement and education are crucial, with a special emphasis on lifestyle and medication adherence.
Team collaboration is essential, particularly in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols.
Charting will be conducted using EPIC, requiring prior experience.
