Description:
This is an outpatient position.
The RN should be aware that this is an outpatient, not inpatient bedside, role.
Interviews will be conducted via video call.
Experience with EPIC is highly preferred.
Prior experience working in neurology or infusion is highly preferred.
Review comfortability with the local area and housing costs before proceeding.
The role includes handling 8 infusion orders per week.
The RN will manage about 50 medication refills per week.
They will handle 15-20 prior authorizations per week.
The RN will receive approximately 50 patient calls and MyChart patient advice requests per week.
They are expected to conduct 15-20 office visits per week.
The MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment) is used as a screening tool for detecting mild cognitive impairment.
This position is open to local and true travelers.
First-timers are accepted.
No weekend work is required.
On-call duties are not required.
Travelers are not expected to float between different units.
Pending state licenses are not accepted; candidates must have their California RN license ready.
References covering one year are required during the compliance process prior to the start.
All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the same state when required.
Refusal to float may lead to termination of the assignment.
