Experience in Pulmonology/Allergy is beneficial. Allergy experience is helpful but not required. Pediatric and ER experience preferred. Description: Position requires an outpatient registered nurse. Shifts are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. There is no weekend requirement. On-call duty is not required for this position. The nurse may need to float to meet facility needs, but this should be rare. Candidates must have a current state license or a compact license prior to starting. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. The facility can call off one shift every two weeks. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Shift ratios, daily census, patient diagnoses, and special procedures are subject to facility standards. Local and traveler nurses must comply with state licensing requirements. Candidates should complete all lab requirements prior to departure if vacation is planned during the compliance process.
