Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager for a 9-week contract assignment in Exeter, New Hampshire. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing nursing staff, coordinating resident care, and ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes within a skilled nursing facility.

This position requires strong clinical leadership, organizational ability, and experience managing nursing teams in a long-term care environment.


Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support nursing staff within assigned unit
Coordinate and oversee resident care plans and clinical services
Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and safety standards
Monitor patient outcomes and quality of care indicators
Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and facility leadership
Assist with staffing, scheduling, and workflow management
Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to nursing staff
Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives


Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Strong communication and team management skills
Knowledge of clinical care standards, regulatory compliance, and patient safety protocols
Ability to manage weekend on-call rotation every 4 weeks
Familiarity with interdisciplinary care coordination and staffing workflows
