Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) team in Janesville, Wisconsin. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring post-acute and long-term skilled services within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring adherence to established standards and policies. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans and promote positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly according to standards of care.
- Develop, initiate, and execute patient plans of care according to individualized needs, as prescribed by a Physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction.
- Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance initiatives.
- Utilize clinical expertise and provide guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.
- Utilize critical thinking in regards to patient safety and patient experience, appropriately escalating concerns to the chain of command.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Education verification required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or similar inpatient setting.

Shift Details
- Shift Type: Day Shift
- Hours: 06:30 AM - 07:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
- Days per Week: 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- Weekend Rotation: Every third weekend
- Holiday Rotation: Required
- Call Requirements: Not specified.
- Assignment Dates: July 27, 2026 - October 25, 2026 (13-week contract)
Licensing Requirements
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (CPR).
