What You’ll Do
Clinical Care
Patient-Centered Exams & Management
Conduct and interpret medical histories for sexual and reproductive health visits.
Perform pelvic and breast exams, Pap smears, and other screening procedures.
Order and interprets laboratory tests; ensure timely follow-up.
- Manage urgent health situations that arise during clinic operations.
Team Engagement
What We’re Looking For
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), Women’s Health NP (WHNP), or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) program.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice in the state of California.
- Board Certification
- CPR/BLS certification (current or within 30 days of hire).
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to thrive in a team-based environment.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows-based systems)

The salary provided is pay for Float Clinician I. Upon completion of our robust 4-6 month training and a positive 6-month review, Float Clinician I employees are promoted to Float Clinician II.
What is a Float (Travel) Clinician? A clinician that travels to other health centers. Float Clinicians receive an additional $3-12 per hour when traveling from a designated ‘home’ health center to support patient care at local, regional, and affiliate health centers.
