Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a position located in Pasadena, Texas. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing advanced equipment in a nuclear medicine unit. The Technologist will be responsible for delivering quality patient care while adhering to established standards and protocols.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certification by NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) with at least 1 year of experience; location in Pasadena, Texas
  • Preferred Qualifications: Self-starter, strong communicator, team player; ability to work independently; IV skills are a plus
  • Responsibilities:
    • Conduct nuclear medicine procedures such as Hida scans, gastric emptying studies, and stress tests
    • Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and organizational policies
    • Maintain documentation and safety protocols during imaging processes
  • Additional Information:
    • On-call responsibilities from Saturday to Wednesday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
    • Ability to work solo in a small unit comprising two nuclear medicine rooms with specialized equipment such as GE Infinia and GE Discovery systems
    • Dress code includes Kelley Green Scrubs
