Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 6-Week Assignment | Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | On-Call Required (M–F 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM & Weekends 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Perform a broad range of Nuclear Medicine procedures including General, Cardiac, and Therapeutic NM studies
- Operate GE NM 850 Dual Head SPECT/CT Scanner, GE NM 830 Dual Head Gamma Camera, and GE Case 8000 Stress Testing system
- Conduct procedures such as Sentinel Node Injections, DATScan, HIDA, Gastric Emptying, V/Q, Thyroid Uptake, Bone Scan, Indium 111, Thyroid Ablations, and Xofigo
- Perform venipuncture and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with departmental protocols
- Document and manage patient information using the Meditech EMR system
- Participate in on-call rotation as required by departmental scheduling needs
Required Qualifications- Active registration with NMTCB and/or ARRT(N)
- Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license issued by the Texas Medical Board
- Current BLS certification from an approved vendor
- Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technology experience
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with GE Scanners, Xeleris Post Processing, and GE Centricity PACS
- Familiarity with Meditech Health Information System
- Excellent venipuncture skills and strong computer proficiency
