Inpatient/Outpatient/ED patients; Cardiac, GI, Pulmonary, Oncology, PET scans, DAT scans
Patient Ratios:
For daily patient volumes: Our staffing model is 2-3 techs/day. We see between 7-18 patients/day between cardiac and general work. Our staffing model for PET is 1 tech/day and we currently are supporting 5 patient slots/day. PET is an independent workflow.
Required Certifications:
BLS, NMTCB
Skills required
Basic NM principles and practices, experience with the above patient types, able to start IVs, experience with GE equipment (any models), and SPECT CT
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Support on the Unit:
Department Supervisor

EPIC - preferred
GE 850 - preferred
McKesson PACS preferred
Nuc Trak - preferred
Floating:
For the second half of contract, will go into rotation with staff for PET Scans at the Cancer Center (1 mile away)
Orientation:
12 hours to learn the flow
Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: call only, see below
Can we approve time off? Manager to approve all RTO
Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? Yes
Weekdays: 1 call shift per week, EOS until 0600 the following morning
Weekends: 1 weekend every 4th weekend, EOS Friday until Monday at 0600
Holiday Expectations: Call only, potential of taking call 1 holiday per contract
