Job Title: Technologist Profession: Healthcare Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8 hours Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 3+ years in Molecular/Nuclear Imaging Preferred (SPECT/CT/PET/MR/Optical fusion Imaging) License: Current Radiologic Technologist License Certifications: - Current registration in Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT (NM)) - At least one of the following advanced certifications and current registries: NMTCB(PET), NMTCB(NCT), ARRT(CT), ARRT(MR) - Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR - Preferred: NIH Human Subjects Protection in Research Certification Must-Have: - Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology with analytical skills for imaging processes and techniques - Working knowledge of Nuclear Medicine Information System (NMIS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and Hospital Information Systems (HIS) - Ability to rely on experience, judgment, and time management skills to plan and accomplish goals - Presentation of a positive, team-oriented attitude and a professional appearance - Adherence to safety standards set forth by the Radiology Department and other regulatory agencies - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff, instruct students, and collaborate with other technologists Description: AM shift of 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Working hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. No weekends or major holidays.
