Job Summary:
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Neenah, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized neonatal care in a Level III, 22-bed NICU unit. The position requires working 12-hour night shifts, with a schedule of rotating every third weekend and scheduled holidays outside of requested time off. The NICU RN will contribute to delivering high-quality patient care in a Magnet-recognized healthcare facility.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Variable 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m. 7 a.m.), minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Wisconsin or compact RN license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Education: Associate Degree or Certificate. Additional requirements include minimum of 3 years of experience, with NICU level III or level IV experience preferred. No minimum experience is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
  • Float: Floating to pediatric unit required as census dictates.
  • Additional Information: The unit is a 22-bed NICU with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:3 depending on acuity. Charting is preferred via EPIC. Candidates should be social, resilient, and adaptable to change. Uniforms consist of professional scrubs, and jewelry policies permit a single small nose stud. Flu vaccination is mandatory; COVID vaccination is no longer required.
  • Interview Days: Monday through Friday, with manager phone interviews and MSP (Medical Staffing Provider) interviews.
