Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in APPLE VALLEY, California. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU with approximately 190 births per month. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing complex neonatal cases and working a 12-hour day shift.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, at least 1 year in the NICU specialty, valid California license in hand, BCLS, NRP, PALS certifications
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to other units within the facility
  • Additional Information:
    • Start date: 08/11/2026
    • No on-call requirement
    • Every other weekend work, may exceed to meet unit needs
    • Open to accommodating block schedule
    • RTO restrictions: All RTO requests must be included at time of submission and approved based on facility needs
    • Appropriate scrubs: Navy Blue for RNs
    • Large Hispanic community served by the facility
    • Specific procedures include central lines, ROP exams, spinal taps, intubations, and management of PICC and Mid Lines
    • Use of equipment such as CPAP, BIPAP, smart pumps, feeding pumps, and oscillators
    • Required modules: Modules are non-billable, with an average of 16 hours spent, completed prior to start and annually, with time self-reported in Workramp transcripts
