Description
LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Portland, Oregon.
Job Description & Requirements
- Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, nights

Key Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of NICU RN experience required
- Previous travel experience required (First-time travelers not accepted)
- Oregon RN License required
- Pending OR License accepted with:
- Proof of Oregon license application
- Fingerprints submitted with profile
- Required Certifications:
- BLS
- NRP
- Must be able to care for patients under one year of age within scope of competency
Assignment Details
- Start Date: 07/01 or 07/15
- Shift: 3x12 Nights
- Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule Requirements
- Weekend Requirement:
- 3 Saturdays and 3 Sundays during a 6-week schedule period
- Holiday Requirement:
- At least 1 holiday required — either July 4th or Labor Day
- On-Call: None
Floating Requirements
- Clinician may float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including:
- NICU
- PICU
- Pediatric Acute (Infants Floor)
- NICU Overflow Location
- Legacy Health requires travelers to float within a site and across the system. Refusal to float as requested will result in contract cancellation.
Candidate Guidelines
- Local candidates not accepted
- Candidates cannot live within 50 miles of any Legacy Health facility
- RTO Restrictions:
- Finalized RTO must be included with submission
- No RTO during the first week of assignment
- Maximum of 7 days of RTO per assignment
Education Requirement
- Travelers must complete any assigned education requirements within one week of assignment start
Guaranteed Hours
- Contracted Hours
- Low Census Cancellation Policy:
- Shift cancellation must occur 1.5 hours before the scheduled start time
- Personnel may be mandatorily cancelled one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty
