Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Portland, Oregon. The organization is seeking a highly skilled RN to provide specialized care in a Level III NICU. The position involves floating between units as needed, with a focus on neonatal patient care requiring a minimum of two years of NICU experience.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week starting on 08/17/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Two (2) years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, current BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications, and at least one (1) year of relevant experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Specific experience with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level III, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) IV, Neonates less than 24-28 weeks, Dysrhythmia Interpretation/Management, and Ventilator management including AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required within the division, primarily to units specializing in neonatal care.
  • Additional Information: The role requires the candidate to have their own vehicle, and they will be expected to work approximately three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). The position involves working with a daily census of approximately 22 neonates and caring for patients in a facility with 42 beds. Candidates should have charting experience with Epic and be prepared for orientation hours.
