Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Madison, WI. The role requires delivering family-centered care in a state-of-the-art pediatric facility with a focus on complex medical and surgical neonatal cases.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Rotating, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); minimum two years of recent acute care experience in neonatal intensive care, with at least one year in a Level IV NICU; experience with post-operative care, g-tubes, trach/vent management, invasive/noninvasive ventilation
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neonatal diagnostic imaging, ventilation management, and advanced neonatal procedures
  • Float: Will float to care for patients less than 12 months of age across all units including PICU
  • Additional Information: Care for high-acuity neonates with diagnoses such as congenital anomalies, brain injury, seizures, and metabolic disorders. The unit is equipped with ventilators, specialty monitoring, and therapeutic hypothermia capabilities. Candidates must pass strict clinical assessments including telemetry examinations and have at least two years of recent acute care experience in neonatal ICU.
