Registered Nurse - Neuro-Progressive Stepdown/ICU

Schedule

This position requires a shift from 7A to 7:30P with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in a Neuro-Progressive Stepdown/ICU setting. Responsibilities include managing patient care, assessing patient needs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes. The role requires a focus on both medical and surgical patients, reflecting the diverse needs of the patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care based on established protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Perform nursing assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
• Complete all required documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Participate in patient and family education to promote understanding of health conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU experience.
• 5-bed Med-Surg rotation experience is required for all applicants.
• Epic experience is mandatory.
• Completion of Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer is required.
