Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in a 48-bed unit, including 10 epilepsy specialty rooms.
• Monitor telemetry for primarily MedSurg but include some telemetry duties as well.
• Work effectively within a care team, including a Charge Nurse and Resource RN with no patient assignment.
• Participate in floor orientation and pass required SIMs lab and procedures.
• Utilize strong critical thinking and assessment skills to monitor and respond to patient status changes.
• Maintain sterile field and comply with facility protocol during procedural tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license and willingness to wait for state submission approval.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. BSN preferred.
• Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam and SIMs lab competency tests.
• Experience with BiPAP ventilation and working with RNs, PCTs, and RTs.
• Proficient with Cerner charting system.
