Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 5+ years of critical care experience, including 2-3 years in NICU, for a rotating night shift travel position.
Details
- Night shift hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (1900–0730)
- Three 12-hour shifts per week with no set scheduled days; rotating schedule
- Critical care setting with NICU focus
- Neonatal intubation performed in this role
- Occasional call for neonatal transports
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of critical care experience, with 2–3 years specifically in NICU
- Neonatal intubation experience required
- NBRC-RRT or NBRC-CRT credential preferred
- Active, unrestricted Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required (license required if applicable)
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and NRP
- Minimum 2 supervisor references required: one from the past year and one from within the past two years
- Date of birth and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy services to critically ill neonatal patients, including neonatal intubation and transport support
- Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO may not be considered
- Candidates with a prior hit on their license will not be considered
- A specialty-specific skills checklist completed within the past year is required
