Job Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent Med-Surg Telemetry experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or a compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required and must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Previous experience in a telemetry, med/surg, or acute care nursing setting strongly preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and maintain a high standard of patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Strong communication, assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to med/surg telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, identify changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and document nursing care accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• Prioritize patient needs, manage workflow efficiently, and uphold excellent clinical standards
• Deliver compassionate bedside care while helping create a positive patient experience
