Job Summary:
This location is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech for a healthcare organization in Louisville, Kentucky. The position involves performing advanced diagnostic imaging procedures on various patient populations, including emergency, inpatient, and outpatient individuals. The role requires working independently with specialized equipment, supporting the departments clinical needs, and adhering to hospital protocols.

Job Details:

  • Shift Time: Days
  • Schedule: Shift hours are 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The schedule operates on a 4-week cycle.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in MRI Technology, BLS certification, Kentucky state license, and one year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens Sola MRI equipment; familiarity with Cerner and McKesson Electronic Medical Record and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) systems is preferred but not required.
  • Support within the Department: Technologist Assistant support; possible working alone depending on department needs.
  • Technology/Equipment: Siemens Sola MRI system; hospital-specific protocols and equipment.
  • Orientation: Facility and unit orientation with a focus on neonatal, emergency, or other specialized departments.
  • Additional Information: Scrub color is Ceil Blue. Parking is provided free of charge. No float rotation is required.
