MRI Technologist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI studies on a GE 1.5T scanner within a Radiology department
- Complete approximately 30 scans within a 24-hour period
- Start and manage IV access for contrast-enhanced imaging procedures
- Operate and navigate EMR and PACS systems including Epic and Synapse PACS
- Fulfill call requirements, typically one night per week and one weekend per month
- Adhere to department-specific orientation and dress code requirements (black pants, royal blue top)
Required Qualifications- ARRT certification in MRI (ARRT-MR) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required
- Previous hands-on experience operating GE MRI equipment
- Ability to start IVs independently
- Availability for weekend and holiday shifts as required
- Must be available and present in state for the full week of department-specific orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working with Fuji and Synapse PACS imaging systems
- Familiarity with Epic EMR in a radiology setting
- Prior travel or contract experience in a hospital radiology department
