Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 3x12-hour shifts weekly (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Key Responsibilities- Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images of the body
- Explain MRI procedures to patients prior to scanning to ensure understanding and comfort
- Position and immobilize patients on the exam table as required for each scan
- Observe patients during scanning procedures under the direction of a physician
- Review and evaluate computer-generated images to determine diagnostic suitability
- Apply safety measures and utilize protection devices to maintain the safety of patients and staff
Required Qualifications- Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of patient positioning and immobilization techniques
- Ability to evaluate image quality for diagnostic adequacy
- Commitment to patient safety protocols and radiation/MRI safety standards
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care environment
- Familiarity with a variety of MRI scan types and protocols
