MRI Technologist – Travel

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Option of 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) or 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | No weekends | On-call requirement: 1 day per week
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with facility protocols and patient care standards
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to review imaging results and ensure diagnostic accuracy
- Fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled, approximately one day per week
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
- Active certification required: ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT
- At least 1 professional reference covering entire work history
- Ability to complete credentialing requirements at least one week prior to start date
- Minimum 2-week notice required upon assignment conclusion
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a high-volume or acute care imaging environment
- Familiarity with travel assignment expectations and adaptability to new clinical settings
