• Operate MRI imaging and related equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images across various body areas, including advanced study areas.
• Interview and prepare patients by explaining MRI procedures, addressing concerns with tact and professionalism.
• Ensure patient safety through pre-screening for contraindications and adherence to aseptic injection techniques.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and other customers regarding imaging results and patient care needs.
• Troubleshoot scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, coils, etc.) to minimize downtime and maintain continuity of patient care.
• Train and provide guidance to new technologists and patient coordinators as an experienced onsite team member.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Venipuncture Certification required.
• Valid state license as required by applicable state regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to operate MRI scanning equipment and run advanced MR studies independently.

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• ARRT (MR) certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience in a high-volume environment preferred.
• Technical proficiency with GE 1.5T or other designated vendor scanning equipment preferred.
