MRI Technologist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 4x10-Hour Shifts (19:00–05:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI imaging procedures in an acute hospital setting in accordance with facility protocols and scope of practice
- Float to like units or affiliate hospitals as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
- Provide weekend coverage as determined by staffing needs, which may occur more frequently than every other weekend
- Utilize Epic electronic health record system for charting and documentation
- Adhere to facility compliance requirements including holiday coverage, working 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
Required Qualifications- Valid MRI Technologist state license (pending license accepted; must have license in hand prior to start)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
- Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel MRI Technologist experience
- Experience working in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma facility
- Familiarity with floating to multiple units or affiliate locations within a hospital system
