Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- MRI advanced level certification and state licensure in Wisconsin, or eligibility to obtain state licensure prior to start.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist; facility will accept candidates with 1–2 years of MRI experience per client guidance.
- Experience with Siemens 1.5T MRI systems and standard MRI protocols including ortho, neuro, GI, and breast imaging.
- Ability to perform MRI-guided biopsies and breast biopsies; experience with non-cardiac pacemaker scanning restrictions (no pacemaker scanning permitted).
- Experience working independently in a hospital imaging environment, including Level IV trauma centers and sites with NICU and perinatal services.
- Comfortable working with a full patient age range from pediatrics to geriatrics and maintaining 1:1 patient ratios when required.
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record and Pyxis medication dispensing systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and ability to collaborate with radiologists, transporters, and radiology assistants.

Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift pattern: 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, plus one additional 12-hour shift either Monday or Friday.
- Duration: 13-week travel assignment.
- Standard hours per week: 40.
- Orientation: One day facility and unit orientation provided.
- On-unit support: Transporter coverage, radiology assistant, radiologist, lead/seasoned MRI techs, phlebotomy, RRT, and hospitalists.
- Scheduling notes: No on-call requirement for call. Holiday coverage only as needed and discussed in interview. Time-off approval via manager.
- Floating: No floating required.
