Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel assignment. The MRI Technologist will operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the examination process.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and answer questions to ensure understanding and comfort.
- Position and immobilize patients correctly to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
- Monitor patients during MRI examinations and respond appropriately to any concerns.
- Review and evaluate images for quality and diagnostic accuracy before submitting for interpretation.
- Follow all MRI safety standards and infection control guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to provide quality patient care.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of MRI equipment.
