Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in MRI specialty required License: Compact or state license required Certifications: BLS & ARRT R Must-Have: - Ability to work solo - Experience with various MRI techniques including MRA and MRV - Familiarity with Adult Acute Care and Trauma Description: Please ensure you are aware of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until an emergency event passes or to be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed during each emergency event, as impacts may vary. You are expected to report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event occurs. You should not apply for this role if you are not comfortable with the above. Average daily census is 20 patients. You will be responsible for maintaining patient safety and comfort during procedures. This unit accepts first-time travelers. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Experience with charting systems is preferred. Special equipment may be used in the MRI procedures. Work involves a combination of outpatient and inpatient care, including trauma situations. Ensure adherence to all safety and radiation protocols during MRI examinations. You will report directly to the unit manager regarding day-to-day responsibilities. This position includes no call or weekend shifts. All required documentation must be up-to-date for compliance.
