Job Title: Mobile MRI Tech Profession: Radiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 11 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 06:30 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: BLS, MR (ARRT) certification or ARMRIT certification Certifications: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification preferred Must-Have: Siemens experience Level 1 Trauma experience preferred Description: This is an 11-week contract position for a Mobile MRI Tech. The position involves working a 4x10 schedule, Monday to Thursday. Daily caseload per tech varies. Holidays may be required if they fall on a scheduled shift. The clinician will float within the scope to meet facility needs. No on-call duties are required. All required time off must be included at the time of submission. Approval for time off will depend on unit needs. Travelers are encouraged to complete all compliance requirements promptly. All candidates must be aware that they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Travelers must have a South Carolina license in hand or provide proof of application. Candidates will not be cleared to report until the South Carolina license is active. Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team are essential. The candidate must be able to perform a variety of MRI procedures and maintain patient safety. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this role. Experience in working with various demographics, including adults and geriatrics, is preferred. The position may require specialized procedures based on patient diagnoses. Teamwork and interdisciplinary support are vital to ensure high-quality patient care. Tracking and reporting of patient outcomes will be part of the responsibilities. Candidates should be familiar with charting systems and have experience with Epic. This role involves significant patient interaction, and empathy is essential in patient care.
