Travel MRI Tech - $2,275 to $2,475 per week in Mechanicsville, VA

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with MR registry required (or must obtain within one year of hire).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to direct patient care.
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in a hospital setting required.
• Experience with GE MRI equipment required (GE 1.5T Signa Artist and GE 3T Premier preferred).
• PACS experience preferred.
• Experience performing IV contrast administration and magnetic contrast agent procedures.
• Experience working with pediatric, inpatient, and outpatient populations preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM.
• Call: 4 days per month.
• Team environment: will work alongside another technologist.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float within the client system as needed.
