Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: No prior license or background hits Description: Chesapeake is located in Coastal Virginia, just minutes away from a major beach. It is an outdoor lover’s paradise offering trails for all levels of hikers and numerous waterways to explore. The role involves working 3 shifts per week on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 PM to 8 AM. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of MRI experience. BLS and ARRT certifications are required. Experience with GE MRI systems is preferred. Candidates must rotate on-call as needed. The patient ratio is manageable, allowing for focused care. Travel experience is a plus but not required. The facility does not accept any prior license or background issues. Fit testing for PPE is required. EKG testing may be necessary for certain units. Modules must be completed prior to starting work.
