- Schedule: 3x12
- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Weekly Pay: $2050 to $2250
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
- Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications
- Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Administer contrast agents when required and monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Review images for quality and completeness before submission to radiologists
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Follow MRI safety standards, infection control practices, and facility policies
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program
- Active ARRT certification required
- ARRT (MR) certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- Experience with contrast-enhanced MRI studies preferred
- Strong technical, organizational, and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
