We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Microbiologist Clinical Laboratory Scientist to provide expert support in a dynamic clinical setting. In this role, you will analyze specimens, perform high-complexity testing, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results, supporting clinicians in making informed patient care decisions. Required Skills:
Valid CLS (NCA), MT (ASCP), or equivalent certification as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist
Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment operation
Effective communication skills and the ability to read and write in English
Prior experience in general laboratory testing (preferably one year)
Ability to work independently and adapt to different laboratory settings
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with microbiological testing techniques
Knowledge of infectious disease diagnostics
Bilingual communication abilities
Previous travel laboratory assignments
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
At least one year of relevant laboratory experience
Other Requirements:
Availability to work days, Tuesdays through Saturdays, with weekend participation required
Willingness to float and adjust schedules as needed based on skill set
Ability to work in environments with exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials
Physical ability to perform laboratory duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing or sitting
Compliance with safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment
