Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist- Serology Departement.
Job Location: Irving, TX
Pay Rate: $35/hr. to $40/hr. on W2.
Duration: 3 to 6+ months with possible extension or conversation to Perm according to clients need
Shift: Early morning, Day, Afternoon and night shifts available.
40 hours a week.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform specimen handling, processing, analysis, and reporting according to laboratory SOPs
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments; follow QC/QA policies, calibrations, and maintenance procedures
- Review and release test results, including STAT and critical values
- Identify and resolve testing issues or escalate to supervisor when needed; document corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of testing, QC, and proficiency testing
- Communicate effectively with lab staff and clients when required
- Participate in training, meetings, inspections, and continuous quality improvement
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
