Travel Medical Technologist - $1,625 to $1,825 per week in Lander, WY

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states. The role will support laboratory operations at a hospital in Lander, WY and will include supervisory responsibilities for laboratory personnel, quality control adherence, equipment maintenance support, and assistance with staffing and compliance activities.

Minimum Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus graduation from an MT or CLS training program approved or accredited by ABHES, CAHEA, or another organization approved by HHS.
• Valid ASCP certification. Certification must be attached to submission.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association. BLS must be attached to submission.
• Minimum of 3 years recent laboratory supervisor experience.
• Experience working in hospital laboratory settings.
• Ability to follow state and federal laboratory regulations and quality control procedures.
• Candidates must be able to cover both Lander and Riverton campuses during the assignment.
• The SageWest coversheet must be attached to the submission. Use of the provided submission template is required; submittals without it will be rejected.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with laboratory equipment maintenance and oversight.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in hospital laboratories.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 6:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Workdays: Monday through Friday.
• Responsibility to cover both Lander and Riverton campuses (floating between sites as needed).
• Submission requirements include attached ASCP and AHA BLS certifications, SageWest coversheet, SSN & DOB, RTR, and Vendor Submittal Packet as specified in the template.
