Travel Medical Technologist - $1,368 to $1,568 per week in Eureka Springs, AR

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field as required by individual clients.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state.
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record preferred.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting chemistry, UA, hematology, and coagulation analyzers preferred.
• Blood bank testing experience preferred (type, RH, antibody screening, compatibility testing, QC).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in hospital laboratory settings.
• Venipuncture skill and experience performing quality control and routine maintenance.
• Experience with serological, microbiology, and microscopic testing.

Assignment Details

• 12 hour shifts.
• Rotate if necessary.
