Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position requiring telemetry background and a WI or compact RN license.

Details

  • Work in the Medical/Surgical unit of a hospital environment
  • Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
  • 13-week assignment length
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
  • May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
  • EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Active WI or compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
  • Telemetry background required with ability to read telemetry
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • No artificial or acrylic nails and natural nails must be kept short (less than 1/4 inch)
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

  • Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for candidates living near the facility
  • Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate based on facility-specific radius requirements
