Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele Resource Pool position in Des Moines, IA, requiring flexibility to float across multiple med/surg units and a valid IA or compact RN license.

Details

• Resource Pool position with floating required across multiple med/surg floors, including Ortho, Med/Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med/Surg Tele units
• Floating may also be required to a secondary campus located approximately 9.5 miles from the main downtown location
• Day shift: 7:00am–7:30pm
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• ACLS certification may be required depending on unit assignment
• TNCC certification may be required depending on unit assignment
• License verification dated within 30 days of start date required for consideration

• Holiday coverage required on an every-other-holiday basis
