Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) with specialization in Medical Surgical With Telemetry (MS TELE) is sought for a hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. The role involves floating across multiple departments and specialties caring for adult patient populations in general care and intermediate care units. The position requires high-quality, evidence-based nursing care and collaborative teamwork within a Magnet-designated facility known for clinical excellence and teaching.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts between 1900 0730, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: WI or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (American Heart Association), at least 2 years of recent inpatient acute care experience in a similar specialty, experience working in different Medical Surgical units (cardiac, spine, neuro), and Basic Arrhythmia experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Neuro Stepdown, Oncology telemetry, and ability to float to Neuro and Oncology units.
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association).
• Additional Information: Traveler must pass a telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. The role involves working in a Level One Trauma Center with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries. This position requires flexibility to float to designated units as needed, with a hard stop limit on floating within Neuro and Oncology departments.
