Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio, or eligibility to obtain before start
• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care, telemetry, or stepdown nursing experience preferred
• Experience caring for cardiac patients strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification required; additional cardiac certifications are a plus
• Strong clinical assessment, monitoring, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Must meet all onboarding, screening, and compliance requirements prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown and progressive care patients recovering from procedures and managing complex conditions
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, lab results, and patient status closely for any changes
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary care team members to support safe patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly
• Respond quickly and professionally to changes in patient condition
