Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Tennessee. This position involves working in a Med/Surg float pool, providing care across multiple units with a focus on adult patients. The role requires flexibility to meet staffing needs and includes float to emergency department as necessary. Orientation sessions are scheduled on specific dates, and candidates must meet the specified experience and licensing requirements.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Two or more years of relevant experience, prior travel experience, Tennessee license or compact license on file at time of submission, and BLS certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 08/10/2026, 08/14/2026, 08/24/2026, and 08/31/2026. No time off will be approved from 09/19/2026 to 10/17/2026 due to system Go Live. Must have prior travel experience and be comfortable working within a ratio of 1:1 to 6 patients. Scrubs navy required. EMR system utilized is Cerner. The unit makes the schedule, and the application process involves interview with the manager and an offer.
