Job Summary:
This is a Nursing position specializing in Medical Surgical Floor care located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role involves working night shifts with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations. Candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting, adhering to facility policies and procedures.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice nursing, minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (can be obtained after offer)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical record system, managing adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting, strong IV skills, and ability to float to different units as needed
- Holidays: Based on facility needs, with a cancellation policy of one shift every 14 days per OSU pay period
- Charting System: Epic
- Additional Information: Must have completed Healthstream modules prior to orientation, have recent Epic usage (within the last year), and have a manager reference. Applicants will need to have an NIHSS certification by 2 pm CST Wednesday prior to start or the contract may be canceled. No HIT backgrounds or license hits accepted.
