Job Requirements

• Active New York RN license and all active RN licenses
• Current AHA BLS certification
• 2+ years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Updated resume with relevant Medical/Surgical experience
• Skills checklist matching the specialty
• Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
• RTO submitted at time of application

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Support post-surgical and medical patients with diagnoses such as abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and bariatric-related care
• Monitor and manage specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, efficient patient outcomes
• Adapt to floating assignments as needed while maintaining excellent patient care standards
• Deliver compassionate, professional bedside care in a busy medical-surgical unit
