Registered Nurse - Med Surg Nights

Assignment Duration

This is a 21-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00), rotating every other weekend.

Job Description

This position involves providing high-quality medical-surgical nursing care during night shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in a med-surg setting and be comfortable with a patient ratio typical for nights. Experience with Cerner charting system is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care to meet the medical needs of patients.
• Assist in the coordination and management of patient care with the healthcare team.
• Utilize the Cerner charting system for documentation and patient management.
• Participate in required interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
• Float to other units as needed based on facility policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med Surg setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Ohio RN license must be in hand.
• Charge experience preferred.
