Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position in Ardmore, Oklahoma. This role involves working on a medical surgical floor providing patient care to a diverse age range, including inpatient assessments, care planning, and patient education. Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 1900-0700, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Location: 1011 14th Ave NW, Ardmore, OK 73401

- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Required Qualifications: Current RN license (meets criteria for licensure in Missouri or is licensed in Oklahoma), BLS from AHA, 2+ years of experience in medical surgical nursing
- Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification
- Float: Float rotation may be required on a rotational basis
- Unit Information: 32 beds, patient ratios vary up to 1:6, equipment includes remote telemetry monitored by ICU, electronic medical record system is EPIC
- Type of Patients: COPD, pneumonia, chest pain, COVID-19
- Personality Fit: Outgoing, friendly, team player, flexible
- Responsibilities: Assessing patients, collaborating on care plans, performing procedures, educating patients, and documenting care according to hospital policies. Involves working with multidisciplinary teams and participating in unit and hospital organizational activities.
- Additional Information: Must complete hospital-approved medication test, participate in orientation within the first three months, and adhere to safety standards. Effective communication, professional conduct, and age-specific patient care skills are required.
