Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Floor care is needed for a facility located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role involves providing direct nursing care in a 30-bed medical-surgical unit with telemetry capability. The nurse will work collaboratively within a team to implement and monitor patient care plans, serve as a primary coordinator across disciplines, and assist with discharge planning. This position demands critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Tulsa, OK
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), 1 year of nursing experience, current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, active license in Oklahoma
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical units, telemetry experience, additional certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) or TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) is a plus
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information:
    Provides care on a 30-bed observation and medical-surgical unit serving a diverse patient population. The unit is supported by patient care technicians and a healthcare unit coordinator. Virtual sitter monitoring and telemetry techs are utilized. Nurses work in teams and may be scheduled for up to six weekend shifts and holidays, depending on departmental needs.
