Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical – Albuquerque, NM 87109

Start Date: July 6, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), 36 or 48 hours per week available. Patient ratio of 1:6. Every other weekend required. Floating within scope as needed.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment (91 days) at a women's hospital serving adult and geriatric populations
• Flexible scheduling with option of 36 or 48 hours per week
• First-time travelers welcome; 2 years of experience preferred
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• 30-bed medical surgical unit with daily census of 24 patients
• 12-hour orientation provided with onsite module training

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact state RN license (pending license accepted, must be obtained prior to start)
• Current BLS certification required
• 2 years of medical surgical nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in core med/surg skills including IV management, telemetry, wound care, blood product administration, and central line management
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
