Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/31/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, proficiency in neuro skills with all skills rated as 3s or 4s, at least 2 years of recent experience with neuro patients, and recent experience in neurosurgical or neurovascular acute care. Must have a minimum of one year of healthcare experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), isolation precautions/PPE, Med/Surg, MS/Tele, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care/management, pre/post neurosurgery, spinal cord injury, substance withdrawal, traumatic brain injury, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to other units or facility locations based on skill sets.
  • Additional Information: Must have reliable transportation. Candidates are expected to work three of the five holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). All scheduling and RTO requests must be made upfront during submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted. Candidates should have at least two references covering at least one year within the last three years.
