Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Albuquerque, NM 87109

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30). Option of 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend required. Patient ratio of 6:1.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a 30-bed Medical Surgical unit with daily census of 24 patients
• Flexible scheduling with option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• 12-hour orientation with Epic charting system training
• First-time travelers welcome; floating within scope required
• Caring for adult and geriatric patient populations

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending license accepted, must be obtained prior to start)
• Current BLS certification required
• 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Proficiency in core Med/Surg skills including IV management, blood product administration, telemetry monitoring, wound care, and management of ports, PICC lines, and central lines
