Job Title: Medical Technologist Profession: MT Specialty: MT/MLT (Laboratory) Duration: Permanent Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 or 10 hours, flexible shifts Experience: Required experience in Medical Laboratory Science License: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science Certifications: Phlebotomy certification required Must-Have: - Ability to perform testing in various laboratory disciplines including chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank, molecular, and microbiology testing. - Flexibility to work day shifts including every third weekend or evening shifts every other weekend. - Capability to cover night shift occasionally when required. Description: The laboratory provides a range of testing services. It serves both inpatients and outpatients during the week. Staffing includes 4-5 techs and 3 phlebotomists on day shift, 3-4 techs and 2 phlebotomists on evening shift, and 1 tech and 1 phlebotomist on night shift. There are opportunities for lead positions in microbiology and chemistry for qualified candidates. A relocation bonus is available for eligible candidates. Jewelry must be kept to a minimum while on duty. Visible face and body piercings, excluding traditional ear piercings and small nose studs, are not permitted while on duty.
